보스턴 코리안 싱어즈(BKS)는 가창력 향상을 통해 행복과 개인의 성장을 추구하는 배움의 터전입니다. 광역 보스턴 지역의 다양한 사람들이 모여 하나의 아름다운 화음을 만들어가는 저희는, 마음을 모으는 호흡과 발성 연습을 통해 음악적 미학의 정수를 마스터하고자 노력하고 있습니다. 단원들은 한국과 영미권의 클래식 합창 명곡 및 시대를 초월한 민요를 아우르는 다채롭고 풍성한 레퍼토리를 깊이 있게 연마합니다. 이러한 다채로운 음악적 여정은 지역 사회 콘서트를 통해 결실을 맺으며, 특히 서로 다른 목소리와 문화적 전통이 하나의 아름다운 하모니로 버무려지는 대표적인 '비빔 콘서트(Bibim Concert)'를 통해 관객들에게 깊은 감동과 특별한 경험을 선사하고 있습니다.

The Boston Korean Singers (BKS) is a center for learning, where we pursue happiness and personal growth through the development of singing ability. Bringing together diverse individuals from across the Greater Boston area to forge a singular, beautiful harmony, we strive to master the aesthetics of music through mindful breathing and vocalization practices. Our members immerse themselves in a rich repertoire spanning both Korean and English classic choral works and timeless folk songs. This shared journey culminates in vibrant community performances, anchored by our signature Bibim Concert—a unique musical celebration where distinct cultural traditions and voices blend into one breathtaking experience.

Weekly Practice Times

각 파트별 집중적인 보컬 발전과 완벽한 화음 연마를 위해 매주 다음과 같이 정기 리허설을 진행합니다:

• 소프라노 & 알토 파트: 매주 화요일 저녁 7시 30분

• 테너 & 베이스 파트: 매주 목요일 저녁 7시 30분

지역 커뮤니티 콘서트를 앞두고는 전 단원이 함께하는 전체 합동 리허설이 별도로 일정에 맞춰 진행됩니다.

To focus on vocal development and section mastery, our weekly rehearsals are structured as follows:

• Soprano & Alto Section: Tuesdays at 7:30 PM

• Tenor & Bass Section: Thursdays at 7:30 PM

Combined full-choir rehearsals are scheduled in advance of our local community concerts.
